How does Bumble phone verification work?
Bumble says every active account must be associated with a phone number. When you sign up or change your number, Bumble verifies it in one of two ways: it texts you a code, or it calls you and asks you to type the last 6 digits of the calling number.
TempSMSVerify receives text messages, so the SMS path is the one that works. If Bumble starts a call, go back and choose the option to get a code by text.
Add a backup login before the number expires
This is the most important step on Bumble. Bumble's help center states that if your phone number changes and you never added a secondary login, you cannot log in and Bumble cannot restore the account.

Why is my Bumble verification code not coming?

What happens if I lose access to the number I used on Bumble?

Can my matches see the phone number I verified?
