How is this price index built?
Every price on this page is a live sell price taken from the TempSMSVerify catalog, in US dollars. It is the same price you see in your dashboard before you order, not an estimate or a historical average. We do not copy prices from other sites.
For each app we show two numbers: the price on a United States number, which is the default country, and the lowest price among the 140+ countries that currently have stock for that app, with the country named next to it. If no other country is cheaper or in stock, the column stays empty.
The page is rebuilt about every 10 minutes, and the time of the last check is printed above the table in UTC. Stock can sell out between refreshes, so the price you confirm at checkout is the one that counts.
Prices already include our margin over the line provider's cost. Nothing is charged when you order: the price is frozen in your balance and charged only when the SMS arrives, with an automatic refund otherwise. Card top-ups add a 10% processing fee on the amount you add; crypto top-ups have no fee.
What drives the price of an SMS verification?
The same app can cost very different amounts depending on where the number comes from and how many numbers are left. Three factors explain most of the gap you see in the index.
- App demand: services with strict checks or heavy sign-up volume, such as major messaging, social and AI apps, need numbers that pass them, and those cost more to source.
- Country: numbers from high-demand countries like the United States usually cost more than numbers from countries with plenty of supply.
- Stock: when numbers for an app and country pair run low, the price can rise until stock is refilled. When supply is plentiful, it can drop.
| Factor | Pushes the price up when | Pushes the price down when |
|---|---|---|
| App demand | The app runs strict number checks or sees heavy sign-up volume | The app accepts most numbers |
| Country | Many buyers want numbers from that country | Supply from that country is large |
| Stock | Few numbers are left for the app and country pair | Fresh stock has just been added |
How can I pay less for SMS verification?
Cheap SMS verification is mostly about choosing well and never paying for a failed attempt. These habits keep the cost per working code low.
- Pick a cheaper country when the app allows it. Many apps accept numbers from any country, so the cheapest-country column is often the best deal.
- Cancel numbers you will not use. The cancel button unlocks after about 2 minutes and returns the frozen amount to your balance right away.
- Let failed numbers expire. If no SMS arrives within up to 20 minutes, the full amount is refunded automatically, with no ticket.
- Top up with crypto. Card top-ups carry a 10% processing fee; crypto top-ups have none.
- Request the code right away, and use the extra SMS on the same number at no extra cost if the app asks again.
Is the cheapest number always the best choice?
Not always. A low price only helps if the app accepts the number. Some apps check where a number comes from or reject numbers they classify as VoIP or as previously used, and acceptance changes over time. Because TempSMSVerify charges only when a code arrives, a refused number costs nothing, so trying the cheapest country first is low risk.
If the app also checks that your number's country matches your location or account region, a cheaper country may not work for that app. In that case, use the default US price or a country that fits the account, and see the guide for that app under /temp-number.
What do I need to start, and when am I charged?
Top up at least $5 with Card via Stripe (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Apple Pay, Google Pay); Crypto (USDC or SOL on Solana). There is no subscription and your balance never expires. When you order a number, its price is frozen, not charged; the charge happens only when the SMS arrives. Full billing rules are on /pricing and /refund-policy.
FAQ
Price index FAQ
What is the cheapest SMS verification on TempSMSVerify?
It changes with stock, which is why this page shows live data instead of a fixed list. For each app, the cheapest-country column shows the lowest price currently available among the 140+ countries in the catalog, with the country named. The table is refreshed about every 10 minutes, and you pay only if the code arrives.
Are the prices in the index the prices I actually pay?
Yes. They are live sell prices from the TempSMSVerify catalog, in USD, and they already include our margin. The only addition is a 10% processing fee on card top-ups; crypto top-ups have none. Stock can change between refreshes, so the price shown when you confirm the order is final.
How often are the prices updated?
The index is rebuilt about every 10 minutes from the live catalog, and the time of the last check appears above the table in UTC. Within those minutes stock can sell out or be refilled, so your dashboard always shows the current price for the app and country before you order.
Why can a US number cost more than other countries?
Demand. Many apps were built for US users, so a lot of buyers want +1 numbers, and supply for the most requested apps is limited. Numbers from countries with more supply often cost less. If the app accepts any country, the cheapest-country column usually gives you a lower price for the same verification.
Do I pay if the code never arrives?
No. When you order, TempSMSVerify freezes the price in your balance instead of charging it. You are charged only when the SMS arrives. If the number expires after up to 20 minutes without a code, or you cancel after about 2 minutes, the full amount returns to your balance automatically, with no support ticket needed.
Is it cheaper to pay with crypto or card?
Crypto. The price of each number is the same either way, but card top-ups through Stripe carry a 10% processing fee on the amount you add, while crypto top-ups have no fee. The minimum top-up is $5 for both, and your balance never expires, so you can top up once and spend it over time.
