How does Fiverr phone verification work?
Fiverr's help center says phone verification links a number to your account for security and trust. All freelancers must verify a phone number before offering services, because it is part of Gig creation. Buyers may be asked too.
You verify on a desktop browser, not in the Fiverr app: click your profile picture, go to Account settings > Account security, and select Verify Now under Phone verification. Choose your country, enter the number, click Send code, and type the code you receive by text.
Fiverr's attempt limits: plan before you click
Fiverr is strict about attempts. Its help center describes two tries by text and one by phone call, a limit of one verified number every 24 hours, and codes that expire after 10 minutes. Waste the attempts and you wait a day.
